Yes. If you wish to take a class at another CUNY college while attending Hunter, you must submit an "ePermit" (electronic permit) application on CUNYfirst. If approved on ePermit, you will be billed for the course as part of your tuition here at Hunter.
Taking a class at a non-CUNY college or university while attending Hunter College is known as taking a class on “permit.”
It is recommended that students first discuss the option of taking an ePermit or permit with their advisors before submitting an application to ascertain the course(s) will fulfill degree requirements and/or transfer.
